Worth Gets Spooky For A Cause
Times are tough, right? Food pantries are taking it in the shorts these days; supplies are low, and donations light. In a month, everyone and their brother will have their hand out for the ubiquitous radio station “food drives.” The reality is a lot of people need a hand today…not in December. If you can, please consider joining the Village of Worth, the Police Department and our own Antique Car Club for a Haunt Against Hunger event aimed at collecting food for the nearby food pantry. Joining them will be representatives from the LasRydes Hearse Club and Robert Miller’s Reaper Madness. Here’s what they have to say: After some entertainment at the clubhouse, we will take a haunted walk around town and enjoy some Halloween decorations and attractions. Refreshments will be made available at the Methodist Church. Participants will receive a coupon for the Park District’s Haunted Terrace. For more information, see us at http://villageofworth.com or email our guy Officer Ritz at firstname.lastname@example.org.
