Dan Hinkel from the Chicago Tribune reports:

After ditching an allegedly stolen minivan and running from police, a Chicago man tried to avoid arrest by diving through the open front window of his home, running to a bedroom and pretending to be asleep, authorities said.

The officer was unconvinced, and the 27-year-old man was arrested Friday night and charged with criminal trespass to a vehicle, obstruction and various traffic offenses.
