32 Candles for Pac-Man
Pac-man—the iconic game and character that elevated video games from seedy arcades to national past time—is 32 years old. The Namco-developed creation, like many games of its era, features incredibly simple gameplay; you navigate Pac-Man through a maze with the goal of clearing the board of dots while simultaneously avoiding ghosts. It’s the type of wackiness that the Japanese game industry excelled at during the ’80s.
