Summer is still alive and well, though the weather this week tells us otherwise. This coming weekend, why not take advantage of the cooler weather and hit the North Side Summerfest?

The Festival features live music, arts and crafts, food and drink from around the city. Local spots dish out their best interpretation of the classic hot dog, as well as a hot dog eating contest.

Cost: $5 donation

Where:  North Center – Lincoln and Irving Park

When: Saturday, August 18 – 2 p.m.  and Sunday, August 19 – 2 p.m.
