About 1 a.m. Thursday, two men dropped by Copy Catz, a Maryland recording studio, to lay down “Larry Hoover” – dedicated to famous Chicago gangster King Larry.
When the rap was wrapped, the pair left the studio and walked out of the building while everybody else got ready to leave, but the rappers quickly returned – with guns. They ordered everyone to sit on the sofa and started demanding valuables.
The rappers did leave ONE clue as to their identity: the recording.
“What we’re looking for is the voice recognition,” police spokesman Pete Piringer said. “Maybe someone will recognize their voices or know this tune or know who these fellas are.”
Security protocol at the studio was not followed, obviously. Those responsible for the safety of its employees will probably be looking for a new job in the near future.
