Adrenaline Mob Bassist John Moyer Clears Up Confusion.
Adrenaline Mob bassist John Moyer Clears Up Confusion with a recent post.
“Hey guys, I feel like I need to clear something up. Adrenaline Mob has known for weeks that I would not be going with them on this run. I asked them to issue a press release saying so but Amob management said “no need”. If I wanted to post it on my page that was fine.
That conversation happened over a week ago. Once again…I was told by A mob management to post that I was not going out. I’m very confused by the “shock” of my post. I don’t think that management and band were on the same page about my post. Perhaps that was the “shock” they referred to. Unfortunately it also reads as if they didn’t know for sure if I was going out. This is definitely NOT the case.
Once again, everyone has known for weeks that I was not going out. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised to find out that they’ve already found my fill in and have had some rehearsals with him. My post was for my fans who were assuming I was going to be out with Amob. Out of respect for my fans I asked Amob to please let people know my status. And as I said before Amob management not only cleared me making that post but suggested I do it in lieu of a press release. I would NEVER tell a band that I wasn’t going to go out via Twitter.
People that know me know that I pride myself on my professionalism even in less than perfect situations. I love the band and the guys and it is unfortunate that this turned into such a “shit show” as they say. As far as moving forward with the band I was hoping to leave the door open for future tours but that may not be possible now. Thanks for letting me clear that up. Peace!”

SycAmour Breaking Out With Indulgence
In an interview with Loudwire, SycAmour’s Jeremy Gilmore stated, “‘We’re in Hell’ is about feeling and circumstance. Struggling with reality is a universal human characteristic and one that we can unify under. ‘Nobody wants to be a rose’ ties in to the notion that we are playing the cards we are dealt. Within the universe of ‘Indulgence,’ ‘We’re in Hell’ depicts one faction’s idea of educating the citizens of The Metro on the finer points of what it means to feel.”
Their new album is Due on September 2nd from Hopeless Records.
Kix Release First Album In Almost 20 Years
Kix are ready to release their first album in almost 20 years. In an interview with Loudwire frontman Steve Whiteman why.
“It all just really came slowly and it was never really an intentional or a conscious effort from the first time we got together. It was time to try so we worked really hard on it and we are all really pretty proud of it at this point.”
Slipnot Releases New Video For The Negative One
Speaking to BBC Radio, vocalist Corey Taylor spoke about ‘The Negative One.’ “People don’t know what to expect from us and that’s kinda the way we like it. The great thing is that … ‘The Negative One’ isn’t our single,” Taylor says. “That was just a gift for the fans, like we wanted them to hear a piece of the album. The single comes out in a few weeks and it’s completely different. It’s more melodic, but it’s dark, it’s powerful man, its something different, people are going to lose their minds when they hear that.”
Taylor continues, “It’s got the spirit. The thing I love is that everyone’s reactions are very, very similar. They love the fact that there’s new Slipknot out. They also love the fact that it feels like old school meets new school. Like you can feel the original craziness of the early stuff but you can tell that the evolution has happened. And that’s kind of what we were shooting for, ya know? Remember I said I wanted the album to feel like a cross between ‘Iowa’ and ‘Vol. 3′ and I think we did that. Wait till you hear the whole album, because this story is so deep and so honest and so crazy that people are going to lose their minds when they hear it.”
Sixx A.M. Release Gotta Get It Right
In an interview with Sixx A.M., James Michael states “Like our favorite bands from the 1970s, Sixx: A.M. is rooted in songwriting, musicianship and lyrics — three core elements that helped to define that era,” says Nikki Sixx. “Sixx: A.M. has taken even more pages from this book on ‘Gotta Get It Right’ and the rest of ‘Modern Vintage,’ having hopefully created a record that demands to be discovered again and again.”
James Michael adds, “On the first two albums, Sixx: AM established a musical freedom that few bands get to enjoy. ‘Gotta Get It Right’ is clearly a birth child of that creative freedom and an exciting next step for us as our goal was to create something which confounds both expectation and categorization”.
Ashba continues, “‘Gotta Get it Right’ is a great example of how Sixx: AM has set out to celebrate the music that has influenced us over the years and we truly feel we’ve made a genre defying album with ‘Modern Vintage.’”
