Lolla’s Home: Watch Lollapalooza Live
Perry Farrell, front man for Jane’s Addiction had this idea in 1991, no seats, just bands jammin’ at Lollapalooza. It went on for a few years but went on hiatus in 1997. Returning in 2003, ticket sales were poor so the festival was canceled just a few weeks before. Watch what Perry Farrell has to say below about how we’ve gone from there… to here.
Celebrating 10 years here in Chicago, what started out as a small little festival over 20 years ago with just 7 acts has now blossomed to 150 acts on 8 stages being broadcast around the world. Lollapalooza has become one of the premiere destination festivals on Earth. Over 100,000 people each day are expected for the festival and you can watch it all live here on Q101.
