You can now get your undies out of a bunch. Coldplay frontman Chris Martin had a bit of explaining to do after making headlines with hints of a coming hiatus. Martin recently told an audience in Australia that the group might not be back for three years, and it sent fans into a hand-wringing tizzy. The singer has since clarified his statement, explaining that the band is taking a break from global touring, not from making music. In fact, he’s already crafting new tunes.

“This three-year break idea only came about because I said at a gig in Australia that we might not be back there for three years. That’s probably true, but that’s just how a world tour works. No chance are we taking a three-year break.”

Thankfully, we can now move on!
