Veterans, Q101 thanks you from the bottom of our hearts for you and your families’ sacrifice for our country.

This day is not JUST about parties and cookouts. Sure,we will attend a cookout, have a great time, hoist a beer, and laugh. But keep in mind those who served our country.

If you are in or near Munster, IN, today,  take a few moments to visit the Veteran’s War Memorial. There will be a service at 11:30 a.m. Veterans will be there throughout the day.

Stop by, shake their hand, and thank them for their service. Bring an extra ice water or two to share.

It’s gonna be a hot one, but still, take the time. You will be glad you did.
