Michael Sweet & George Lynch Release “September” Video

In an interview with Loudwire Sweet said this about the new track “September”: “The song “September” was written as a simple reminder to stand strong against our adversaries and even more important, to stand united. We are resilient and although we have faced some of the most horrific events imaginable, we will rise above all due to our spirit, love, bravery and determination. Love conquers hate and that will never change.”

Corey Taylor Of Slipknot Talks About New Album

In a recent interview, Slipknot vocalist Corey Taylor was quoted as saying: “As excited as the fans are, I am just as excited, if not more excited, to get this album out, so people can hear it. It is a fantastic piece of work. I’m really proud of it. I love the music. I haven’t stopped listening to it since we started recording it — this is going all the way back to the demos, man. And I just love what we’ve been able to do. It’s dark, it’s moody, it’s artistic, it’s heavy as hell. There’s some brutal screams on it, but there’s also huge melodies on it. I can’t tell you how stoked I am that we were able to pull this off, man. Especially, just from a personal point of view, telling the story that we need to tell, which is essentially the last four years, and everything that we’ve gone through since losing Paul Gray, bass. This album was too important to rush in and do, and I’m glad we took our time and really made sure that it was time to make it when we did. And the proof’s in the pudding, man. I can’t wait for people to hear it.”

Exodus Release ‘Salt The Wound’ From Blood In, Blood Out

Gary Holt recently spoke about ‘Blood In, Blood Out,’ along with the involvement of Kirk Hammett, who rips a sweet solo within ‘Salt the Wound.’ “Having Kirk play on the new Exodus record kind of came about after I played so many shows with Metallica while touring with Slayer over the past four years,” says Holt. “It started the same way most of these things do, as a lot of chatter while having a good time, but Kirk was more stoked to play on the new record than anyone. He never got to play on anything with Exodus since the first demo despite being a founding member, so I think it really meant a lot to him. Coming full circle so to speak. So I chose the song ‘Salt the Wound’ since I thought the rhythm section for the first lead was right in his wheelhouse, and he killed it! He came in and busted out several takes and his solo compliments mine perfectly. Then we drank beer and ate barbecue! Epic time!”

In This Moment Release New Video “Sick Like Me”

New Album “Black Widow”, out November 18. You can listen to “Sick Like Me” Below.
Frontwoman Maria Brink: “‘Black Widow’ is definitely the darker part of me. This album is finding the weakness inside and turning it into strength. It’s about being reborn, setting yourself free and realizing the balance in everything — the dark and the light.” She adds, “I am so ready and excited for the launch of this album. I think people will embrace its diversity and hearing different sides of us that they haven’t experienced yet.”

Guitarist Chris Howorth: “This was by far the most challenging, exciting and rewarding experience we’ve ever had making a record. We threw out the rulebook and tried to create something fearless, constantly pushing ourselves to make an album unlike anyone has heard before. Fans, get ready for this ride — everything is going to the next level.”

Amaranthe, Reveal ‘Drop Dead Cynical’

Guitarist Olof Mörck told Loudwire, “The first piece of music to be released from ‘Massive Addictive’ is a very representative track. ‘Drop Dead Cynical’ is as massive as it is addictive. This ultra groovy song is a markedly different first single compared to classical Amaranthe single choices, and it takes our trademark sound in fresh and exciting new directions! Top that off with an anthemic chorus, and the result is what I consider one of the absolutely strongest Amaranthe songs ever!”

The first single from the third album ‘Massive Addictive’. Album out on Oct 15th (Japan), Oct 17th (Europe), Oct 20th (UK), Oct 21st (USA)

Bernie Torme Announces The Launch of Flowers & Dirt

Torme recently told TeamRock: “I wanted to do an album now because it’s been so f***ing long since the last one. Admittedly there were three Guy McCoy Torme records in between, but even the last of those was a while ago.

“I’ve got some really cool tracks: rockers, cosmic stuff, bluesy things. Stuff I really like to play. The Pledge thing is just brilliant – there’s no Mister Man telling you what you ‘ought’ to be doing.”
