Original Beastie Boys Member John Berry Has Died At 52

John Berry, the man that is credited with coming up with the Beastie Boys name, has died at 52.

Berry was an original member of the group and performed on their first EP titled Polly Wog Stew in 1982.

Berry left the group shortly after and went on to play in a number of other bands. Only two original members remain after Adam Yauch or “MCA” died from cancer in 2012.
