Bill Murray the worldâs most famous Cubs fan took the podium today at the White House Press room and addressed the real question striking our country (as if he was the President) about whether or not the Northsiders can triumph over the Los Angeles Dodger in this weekâs NLCS in Major League Baseball. Citing Chicagoâs powerful resource of water while L.A. is dealing with water shortage issues, Murray quipped that âtrees in L.A. just dieâ and that this could potentially effect the outcome of the series. It was silliness in the grand degree from a true Chicagoan and American comedy treasure.
