Chris Sale is no longer a member of the Chicago White Sox. The ace pitcher has been traded to the Boston Red Sox for four prospects according to a story broken today by Fox Sport’s Ken Rosenthal. Comcast Sports New England reports that infielder Yoan Moncada and pitcher Michael Kopech are a part of the offerings gained by the White Sox, while the two other players are not yet named.
BREAKING: Sale to #RedSox. Moncada, Kopech and two other prospects to #WhiteSox.

Sale’s last season with the Southsiders was filled some exciting performances on the mound in an underwhelming season, but it seemed like the left hander was certainly not on the same page as the team after an incident where he apparently cut up the team’s throwback jerseys before a game in July. He was suspended for 5 games by the team.
