“Wayne’s World” was released in theaters in February 1992.
The “Party On! 25 Years of Wayne’s World” celebration will start with a poster contest at If These Walls Could Talk in downtown Aurora on Feb. 3. Those in attendance are invited to wear their best flannels.
A dozen events are planned including a Wayne and Garth look-alike contest, air guitar competition, movie screenings at Two Brothers Roundhouse and Paramount Theatre’s Classic Movie Monday series, a doughnut tasting, Luigi’s Pizza renaming their arcade ‘Noah’s Arcade’ and more.
The series of events will end at RiverEdge Park, where there will be an attempt to establish a world record for the largest number of people head banging to “Bohemian Rhapsody” by Queen before the July 4th fireworks.
If you’re gonna spew, spew into this.
