Nintendo which has been making waves with it’s recent hit new console Switch and the short-but-successful retro box NES Classic, but they are not done. This week the company announced the addition of a new handheld device called Nintendo 2DSXL. This will compliment the already loved 3DS devices which have been an underrated joy in the video game for a couple years now. The 2DSXL will be priced at the attractive cost of $149 with a release date of July 28th currently in place.

But 3DS users don’t worry, you don’t have to freak out like I did when I couldn’t find a Switch or a NES Classic in stores when they were sold out. You are not getting left out in the cold, as Nintendo has officially stated they will continue to release games on the device.
