National Doughnut Day in Chicago

Today is National Doughnut Day! Here are some places around the city to celebrate:

Dunkin’ Donuts: Treat yourself to a free classic doughnut with the purchase of any beverage all day while supplies last.

Stan’s Donuts: The constantly expanding sweet spot will be doling out free doughnuts with any purchase at all of its locations.

Krispy Kreme: Customers can take their pick of any doughnut on the menu at no cost.

Fremont: Head to River North for a two-hour doughnut extravaganza at Fremont. For $20, guests can eat their way through doughnut stations, doughnut ice cream sandwiches, a glaze fountain, boozy gelato, a coffee bar and a doughnut ring toss from 5 to 7pm on Friday.

Firecakes: They’re launching a new doughnut ice cream sandwich for the donut holiday, and it’s a doozy: triple-chocolate ice cream sandwich featuring the shop’s triple chocolate cake donut, vanilla ice cream and valrhona chocolate sauce. Starting today it will be available daily – alongside the rest of Firecakes’ extensive donut offerings.

Weber’s Bakery: Buy a dozen doughnuts at the $10.40 sale price and get one of the bakery’s famous chocolate donuts for free.

Beavers Donuts: You can get four free mini sugar-dusted donuts for customers at its Chicago French Market location (131 N. Clinton St.) or any of its food trucks. Bonus: The same deal applies to orders through UberEATS.
