It’s been a week since Tom Petty passed away. Kevin and I were just scrolling through the tribute played by 101WKQX artists and here’s what we found in terms of tribute at recent concerts:
The Killers – “American Girl”
Brandon Flowers and crew opened up their set at Austin City Limits with this:

Later in the set, they hit up another tune:
Cage The Elephant – “Mary Jane’s Last Dance”

Red Hot Chili Peppers/Josh Klinghoffer – “Face In The Crowd”
This seems to be Josh’s thing with the band, paying tribute in the past to Chris Cornell. At Austin City Limits, he tackled Full Moon Fever:
