March for Our Lives is created by students from around the country who want to stop mass school shootings following the deaths of 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla., on Feb. 14. Organizers expect 15,000 people will show up to the Chicago event to hear speakers and watch performers under the age of 21 take the stage. Additional events are planned for the suburbs.

- Lyft will offer free rides to attendees of the March For Our Lives events in 50 cities across the country, including Chicago.
