Chicago Block Club, risen from the ashes and taking the place of DNAinfo, is investigating all the ruff news of the city. (That’s the last dog pun, I promise). They have parsed through all the Chicago dog data….and they have found the top dog breed in the city.
The loveable mutt.
Which, by definition….isn’t a breed, right? That’s not Alanis Morisette-ironic. That’s straight up ironic. You can read through the rest of the list here.
As an added bonus, the “Chicago Block Club Canine Investigative Team” analyzed 43,000 dog handles and came up with the top names in the city:
- Bella: 430 dogs
- Max: 385 dogs
- Charlie: 383 dogs
- Rocky: 296 dogs
- Lucy: 289 dogs
- Coco: 261 dogs
- Daisy: 236 dogs
- Lola: 231 dogs
- Buddy: 231 dogs
- Bailey: 208 dogs
When I lay my head on the pillow at night, I will be happy to know that there is a news organization that is on the edge of any breaking mongrel happenings. 😂 —- [eric]
