The Foo Fighters were forced to reschedule dates on their current massive ‘Concrete & Gold’ tour this week due Dave Grohl losing his voice on September 1st during a show at Seattle’s Safeco Field. This affects their shows north of the border in Edmonton and Calgary, and Grohl always charismatic joked his way through the hurdle. In a statement explaining the rescheduled dates, Grohl goofed “That’s the last time I make out with Bono”. U2 recently had to reschedule a Berlin show after Bono suffered a “complete loss of voice” .
U2’s Bono was forced to cut a show short after only a few songs, while on stage in Berlin, Germany. He stated he did not know exactly what happened, but he didn’t feel he could sing.
The Irish legend got good news from that his vocal ailment was only temporary, and the band would be able to resume touring shortly.
“So happy and relieved that anything serious has been ruled out,My relief is tempered by the knowledge that the Berlin audience were so inconvenienced. There was an amazing atmosphere in the house, it was going to be one of those unforgettable nights but not for this reason. … We can’t wait to get back there on November 13.” said Bono in a statement.
