Following the box office banger that was the Halloween reboot this past weekend, actor Robert Englund who came to fame as ‘Freddy Krueger’ in the 80’s film series ‘Nightmare on Elm Street’ put a blood drop in the horror movie shark tank when he said he might be open to another film. Englund who last year swore off a serious run as ‘Freddy’ again, citing his age in an interview with EW. This Wednesday, Englund will the knife-fingered demon back to life for a comedic cameo in the throwback sitcom, ‘the Goldbergs’.

Yesterday during an interview with Access Live, Englund drops this timely tease:
“I think they want to reboot the franchise, but they’re gonna need a new actor…. “They’re gonna need a new actor to play Freddy because they’re gonna have to do eight of them. I might have one left in me… but yeah.”
