49-year-old Keith Flint was found dead at his home in Dunmow, Essex.
Fans and friends posted tributes on Twitter for the singer as news of the stars passing spread.
I’ve been dreading this day. Listening to ’Experience’ as a kid in my bedroom on cassette made me want to be a DJ. I idolised Keith. His long hair, his Firestarter hair, the way he spat lyrics, danced, MC’d. The full radio show this weekend is for you. RIP Keef 😞 #KeithFlint pic.twitter.com/vJUUiUXsDq

I was about 11 or 12 when I first heard this album. It blew my little mind. No Good, Start The Dance & Voodoo People were the big end of night songs for every teenage disco in the 90’s & so many Prodigy tunes have survived every ebb & flow of music trends. I just heard, and I am heartbroken. Once the most innovative, fearless, ballsy bands to grace a stage and Keith was perfection up front. We have lost a Titan. 💔 #KeithFlint #Prodigy https://t.co/YJ8knnPi1V
