In a recent interview with Kerrang! magazine, former Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge revealed that he has a desire to return to the pop punk power outfit that brought him to prominence.
“I get it—trust me, I love blink and it’s given me everything in my life,” DeLonge says. “And, you know, I plan on doing it in the future. But right now there’s just no way—I have way too much going on because Angels & Airwaves is a part of To The Stars, and that’s why it works.”
DeLonge is right here as he is busy with his current band Angels & Airwaves selling out an upcoming tour and his UFO research group, To The Stars Academy. He’s also involved in a History Channel series about UFOs called ‘Unidentified: Inside America’s UFO Investigation’.
Angels & Airwaves released their first new single in several years recently. It’s called ‘Rebel Girl’, stream it here.
Meanwhile Blink-182 is busy on their own with Alkaline Trio’s Matt Skiba in the fold, recently releasing their own new single ‘Blame It On My Youth’.
