It’s expected to feel a 105 degrees with the heat index this weekend starting on Friday in the greater Chicago area. WGN reported today on how the City of Chicago will respond to the needs of those vulnerable to the hot conditions.
The following tips are worth noting with the heat:
- Stay hydrated
- Check on your neighbors, especially the elderly
- Do not tamper with fire hydrants for water as it directly affects fire department work
