The Fyre Festival has become one of the biggest failures in music history. The widespread scam behind the destination festival has been featured at depth in documentary films on Hulu and Netflix. It was laughably bad in retrospect.
Blink-182 was one of the many acts booked for the fest-that-never-was, and apparently one of the people behind this whole thing is suing them. Yes, a band who did the right thing and pulled out of this trash is getting taken to court over it.
AltPress is reporting that Blink’s management company is going to court to settle a $500,000 law suit brought against them by festival trustees. The same plaintiffs filed similar lawsuits recently for $14.4 million against the musical acts and social influencers like Kendall Jenner that did not show up for the 2017 island event.
