The movie industry like everything else in the world was turned upside down by the current pandemic. Several movies slotted for the summer seasons are coming out in theaters next month, while others planned for 2020 have been pushed back. Then you have movies only being released in digital on-demand through Xfinity and other platforms.
Here are the biggest changes about four big blockbusters coming out on a screen somewhere at some time in the future.
The film that many hope can save the summer season, visionary director Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet’ which was already one of the more anticipated movies to be released this year before the pandemic. The films release in theaters has been delayed by two weeks to July 31st. AMC Theaters one of the largest cinema chains in the United States, says 97% of their theaters will be operational by this time.

Warner Bros. has pushed ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ to October 2nd, 2021. The trailer makes Gal Gadot look like a total bad-ass yet again.
If you are fan on monster movies, there is no bigger monster mash than Godzilla vs. Kong. This massive super-fight film is reportedly getting a PG-13 ratings due to violence, and has been postponed to May 21, 2021. The trailer is not available just yet but YouTube nerd channel Dangerville put out this video saying that those who have actually seen the film that it features some flesh-ripping action.
It’s been 20 years since we got one, but ‘the Matrix 4’ with Keanu Reeves set for the film despite what happened to his character in the last film in the series.
