The NFL team in Washington will no longer have the name that many found deeply offensive, and the team owner’s Dan Snyder made it official today saying that after reviewing the matter, they will be changing the name and logo. This comes after weeks of pressure from fans and sponsors to change the name which many believed to be racist towards Native Americans.
