EVENT WEEK SCHEDULE:
- Mid-October | Pet “Howl-oween” Costume Contest
- Thursday, October 29, 7:00pm | Virtual Opening Ceremonies
- Saturday, October 31, 10:00am – 12:00pm | Virtual PAWS Chicago 5K Walk/Run For Their Lives Event
WHY: The 20th Annual PAWS Chicago 5K Walk Run is critically important to funding the life-saving programs at PAWS Chicago. Since its founding in 1997, the number of homeless pets killed in the city has been reduced by 91%, but there is still so much work left to do to reach a truly No Kill community. Proceeds from the event helps PAWS save homeless dogs and cats who are still at risk, and ensures every rescued pet receives the individualized, nurturing care they need for a happy, healthy life. PAWS Chicago’s work is 100% reliant on the support of the community.
And just look how cute Big Reg looks in his costume!
Help out the puppies!
