Jake Stitt, a 17 year-old with cerebral palsy, was trying to raise $35K along with his family in order to purchase a wheelchair-accessible van.
This van was needed in order for Jake to more easily get around since it is tough for people to lift him up into the chair in a car. The family turned to the community for help and was super successful, but when Justin Timberlake caught wind of the story he decided to step in and contribute as well.
He went ahead and bought the van for the family!
GOOD NEWS!! This family now has an adaptive van for the holidays. 17 year old Jake, who suffers from cerebral palsy, got a very special surprise today. https://t.co/598i1IT9RN

He hopes that the money that the family has already raised can go towards medical expenses that Jake will have to face in the future.
What a great story!
