It’s that time of year, tax time. Have you filed your taxes yet? What are you waiting for?! Here are some tips to getting your refund back quickly, because it might take longer this year given the circumstances.
- Ask for direct deposit. That way you don’t wait for USPS to drop it off. We all know they have supply chain issues too.
2. Be thorough and go SLOW. If you make a mistake, they will start checking everything you put down, which again, will take longer. No screw ups my friend!
3. If you have your W2, file right now. Why wait another two months and be last in line? Do it NOW!
4. If you use e-filing, it will get done TWICE as fast, probably within 21 days. If you mail in your forms, well, that will take much longer. It’s also a lot easier online, so don’t waste your time with stamps and lines.
