Q101 announces that it will present The Smashing Pumpkins Takeover starting Tuesday, September 13th at 6:00am and running through Tuesday, September 20th at 5:00pm. Every half hour every day, the station will give away a pair of tickets to a special live concert event at The Metro – the legendary club where it all started for The Smashing Pumpkins. “Q101 Presents An Evening With The Smashing Pumpkins” will be held on Tuesday, September 20th at 8:00pm at The Metro.” The only way in is to win with Q101 – every half hour, starting Tuesday, September 13th. Q101 will be selling commemorative Smashing Pumpkins/The Metro/Q101 t-shirts at The Metro concert event, with all proceeds donated to the Highland Park Community Foundation’s 4th of July Highland Park Shooting Response Fund.
