Chicago is kicking off a new contest today and it’s for you karaoke lovers. If you’ve got the pipes, you could be singing all the way to the bank. The ‘Chicago Sings Karaoke’ contest is starting soon, but all you need to do enter in, is to go to one of these venues listed below for Round 1. The competition will run from 8 to 11 p.m. at each venue. Participants must also be 21. The grand prize is $5,000, bragging rights, and the title of ‘Chicago’s Karaoke Champ.’

Round 2 begins on October 23rd, and Round 3 on November 6 at the Park West at 322 W. Armitage Ave. You’ll perform for city officials, industry professionals, and some celebrities if you make it that far. But remember, you’ll have to compete against me, at least in Round 1 that is.
