The agency announced on Twitter that peanut butter is considered a liquid, thus requiring travelers to use the “travel size” option if they choose to fly with peanut butter.

When asked if the peanut butter was smeared on a sandwich, TSA replied,

So as you can see, nothing really makes sense here.
