Over the weekend, fake city of Chicago Twitter accounts sprung up and announced fake news regarding the city. One specific phony Tweet took off, saying, ““We’re excited to announce that beginning 5/2/23, North DuSable Lake Shore Drive will be closed to private vehicles between Grand and Hollywood.”

No, Lake Shore is not closing. It’s still open, albeit slow.
