Linkin Park are considering hitting the road in 2025 with a female vocalist to replace the late Chester Bennington.
Billboard was the first report that the band, who has been on hiatus since the passing of Bennington in 2017, is looking at touring and headlining festival dates next year with an unnamed female vocalist. The last time the band was seen together on stage was in October 2017, when the band played a tribute show for Bennington.
Orgy frontman Jay Gordon made headlines a few weeks ago when he claimed that Linkin Park were going to be back on the road with a female vocalist, but he later walked back those comments. It turns out that Gordon turned out to be true.
Fan speculation immediately pointed the finger at Amy Lee of Evanescence as a possible fill-in, to which she responded, “They should ask me about that. I don’t have a ton of free time, but I might do it part-time.”
