Metallica at Soldier Field (Friday, Sunday) 

For the first time since headlining Lollapalooza 2022, Metallica returns to Chicago for a pair of shows at Soldier Field. Friday and Sunday will feature exclusive setlists for each night with no repeats. Brian and Case the Producer will be there on Friday night, so be sure to say “AHOY!” when you see them.

The Revivalists at The Salt Shed (Friday) 

The Revivalists return to Chicago on Friday night for an outdoor set at The Salt Shed. Tickets are sold out for this event.

Chicago Air & Water Show (Friday-Sunday) 

The Chicago Air and Water Show presented by the City of Chicago is the largest FREE show of its kind in the United States. The show can be viewed along the lakefront from Fullerton to Oak Street, with North Avenue Beach as the focal point.

Sox host the Cubs (Friday, Saturday) 

It’s the Crosstown Classic! It’s Grady Sizemore’s managerial debut for the White Sox! It’s only two games instead of three because the MLB is weird! Woo hoo!

The Great American Lobster Fest (Saturday, Sunday) 

Enjoy live lobster flown in fresh from the cold waters off the East Coast, live music performances, unique craft shopping, and cold beverages. We’ll also have plenty of non-seafood and dessert items to please the whole family! All while overlooking gorgeous Lake Michigan and the Chicago Skyline on the Midwest’s largest attraction!

Northalsted Market Days (Saturday, Sunday) 

Northalsted Market Days® is a weekend long, live music street fest celebrating our community in the Northalsted/Lakeview neighborhood. The 1/2 mile long summer festival features all-day lineups of live music on 5 stages, 250+ vendors, food and drink, dance exhibitions, drag performance, and more! A $20 suggested donation for entry helps pay performers and festival workers, and supports local non-profits & community programs like the Chicago Pride Crosswalks; 14 rainbow paved intersections installed in 2019 that make up the longest installation of its kind in the world.
