Ben Affleck officially gave up the cape and cowl of Batman a few years ago following several films in the DC Cinematic Universe and backed away from also directing a solo Bat flick under fears it would trigger drinking issues he was dealing with. Now fast forward to this week, as we learn that Batfleck will rise for another role but he will not be the only big-name actor returning to be the Dark Knight.
The upcoming Flashpoint film will see the fastest hero in the DCU, the Flash speeding through multiverses that allow us to see multiple versions of the same characters. This allows Ben Affleck to portray Batman along with Michael Keaton who is also reportedly locked in for the film.
