The first Lollapalooza kicked off on July 18, 1991 on a sweltering, triple-digit hot day/night in Chandler, Arizona. The lineup included Jane’s Addiction, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Living Colour, Nine Inch Nails, Ice-T, Butthole Surfers and Henry Rollins.
