Vanilla Ice might not be enough to keep the White Sox on the South Side.
A report yesterday from Crain’s Chicago Business broke the news that the Sox could be on the move when their lease ends in six years. According to the report, owner Jerry Reinsdorf is open to the possibility of selling the team, even if it takes them out of the city. This move could be to the suburbs, or, it could take the team to Nashville.
A team spokesperson declined comment on that portion of the report that the team could be leaving Guaranteed Rate when the lease ends in 2029.
