The Beaches at Chop Shop (Saturday) 

Viral sensations The Beaches return to the Chop Shop for their first trip back to Chicago since Lollpalooza earlier this year. When they played Lolla just a few months ago, they were one of the first bands of the entire weekend to play. Millions of new fans later, they now will play a sold-out, headlining gig this weekend.

Chicago Beer Fest (Saturday)

 Visit the Field Museum for a one-of-a-kind beer festival featuring 65 breweries showcasing their favorite seasonal brews and select museum exhibits. You can get a ticket here.

Extra Life Chicago Gaming Convention (Saturday)

Lurie Children’s Hospital will host this fundraising convention that brings together the local gaming community for a good cause. Attendees will be able to play arcade, video and tabletop games, compete in tournaments, shop vendors and artists, hear from game developers, attend an app building workshop and more. Junie B. Jones, The Musical at The Greenhouse Theater Center (Opens Saturday)
