For the first time since 2011, Rolling Stone has compiled a list of the 250 Greatest Guitarists. The list features standouts from alternative, blues, metal, and more. The top 10 was comprised of:
- Jimi Hendrix
- Chuck Berry
- Jimmy Page
- Eddie Van Halen
- Jeff Beck
- Sister Rosetta Tharpe
- Nile Rodgers
- B.B. King
- Joni Mitchell
- Duane Allman
Other notable entries include Tom Morello at 18, John Frusciante at 25, Jack White at 32, and Kurt Cobain at 88.
