Tyson Bagent may not be the guy. In his third week as the Bears starting quarterback, the son of a champion-level arm wrestler, struggled again as the Bears let a possible win in New Orleans slip away on Sunday. He finished the game 18-for-30 for 220 yards, two touchdowns, and three interceptions while also adding 70 yards on the ground. The turnovers, in the end, rendered the Bears without hope.
The Bears entered the fourth quarter tied at 17, but a series of wasted possessions gave the Saints a chance to score and never look back. With a final score of 24-17 in favor of New Orleans, the Bears now sit at 2-7, third last in the NFC.
