A man survived 11 days in the ocean, floating in a what?!
A Brazilian fisherman, Romualdo Macedo Rodrigues, reportedly spent 11 days floating in the Atlantic Ocean in a freezer?! It was supposed to be a three-day fishing trip when his boat sank. Since he couldn’t swim, he jumped into a freezer in the cold, shark-infested waters. He was floating for 11 days until he was found. Romualdo said, “That freezer was God in my life. The only thing I had was the freezer. It was a miracle…I thought I wouldn’t be telling this story, but I’m back here.” Incredible! The CDC says that commercial fisherman have some of the most dangerous jobs in the US.

An Illinois road is closed due to a, snake migration?!
Wildlife workers have shut down a two-mile stretch of road to vehicles through late October due to a yearly snake migration. The roadway in Shawnee National Forest, is now closed so 23 species of snakes can cross, some endangered. In the summer, they live in LaRue Swamp and in the winter they live in the limestone bluffs. They close the road bi-annually for the migration.

The winner in Illinois of the Mega Million $1.34 billion dollar ticket hasn’t come forward
The winning numbers for the biggest prize in state history were 13-36-45-57-67, with a Mega Ball of 14. No one has come forward yet to claim the massive, life-changing prize. The ticket was sold July 29 in suburban Des Plaines. Now what happens? They have 12 months to collect, and can remain anonymous. But the deadline that’s more important, is HOW they want the money. The “Winner’s Handbook” states that – “Lotto, Mega Millions and Powerball winners have 60 days after the date of the drawing to choose the cash option or annual payments.” The winner has a little over two weeks to decide now, then if they don’t, the annuity option is what is going to happen!

Several cars in a Dutch Formula 2 race missed a pigeon the track by centimeters as it slowly walked across. It was like watching the expert level of Frogger. Not once, not twice, but seven times this dare-devil bird stayed course, until he finally flew off. Smart move pigeon.

To say that it is difficult to rank the best moments of the UK version of the Taylor Hawkins Tribute Show is an understatement — which, in itself, should tell you the amazing display of love musicians from across all genres and generations showed last night for the the band’s late drummer, Taylor Hawkins.

This is not a drill! Twitter is FINALLY adding an edit button
It’s only taking the entirety of their existence, but Twitter has finally heard the masses!
The social media company has confirmed that it is currently testing the functionality of an edit button. After employees get a chance to put some miles on it, it will then be rolled out to subscribers of Twitter Blue, the premium subscription version offered by the company.
To prevent abuse of the feature, Wired is reporting that you will only have a 30-minute window and “only a few” opportunities to edit what you send out there.
As for when the rest of us get it? After they work out the kinks. So that could mean — before the end of the year?

Man got stung buy 20,000 bees- and he’s alive!
20-year-old Austin Bellamy was in a medically-induced coma over the weekend at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center after being stung by over 20,000 bees and ingesting 30 of them! He had been trimming trees when he unknowingly cut into a giant freakin’ bee hive! His mom said he looked like a porcupine with all of the stingers, some an inch long, lodged in his head. It looks like he’s going to have a full recovery though.
Johnny Depp pulled WHAT out of his backside?!
According to Kate Moss, when she dated Johnny Depp, he gave her a diamond necklace. They were her first diamonds! There was another first though too with this gift, it was the first time she received a present from someone’s backside. Yes, Johnny Depp took the necklace out of his, umm, crack. She said he told her he had something on his “bum” and actually asked her to take a look for him. Moss grabbed the necklace out and wore it paired with a white dress for one of her most iconic looks, says Vogue.

Rejoice! Twitter is finally getting an “edit” button
It’s true! Twitter finally is releasing an edit button, so no more getting 367 likes on a Tweet then realizing you spelled two words wrong. So aggravating! The company is a little late to the game on this feature, but better late than never. Twitter Blue subscribers will receive access later this month, according to Twitter. Tweets will be able to be edited “a few times” for up to 30 minutes after they are first posted.

On August 29th, a FlightAware map shows a pilot to be tracing something in the sky over Washington state. What else could it be other than the middle finger? Maybe an ex lives there?
Woman calls 9-1-1 after getting stuck upside down at 24 hour gym
A woman was caught hanging around a gym — hanging upside and needing help from first responders.
A TikTok user posted the video proof. Turns out she was very excited to show off exercises on an inversion table. So — she set up her phone to record herself. Little did she know she was going to record an incredibly embarrassing moment.
Turns out she was working out at a 24 hour fitness center at 3AM — and with no one nearby her, she ended up stuck completely upside down:
Oops. But good thing she was wearing her Apple Watch. She used it to summon help — and try and explain her, ummm….unique predicament.
Glad it turned out okay — no pun intended.

Tyler Joseph of twenty one pilots slips on a drumstick onstage
Tuesday night, twenty one pilots were playing a near-hometown show in Cleveland, OH when at one point, drummer Joshua Dun allegedly dropped one of his drumsticks on the stage so that his bandmate and best friend would later slip and fall, twisting his ankle and slicing up his knee. Is this a sign of a deeper rift going on between the two?! Did Tyler accidentally step on Josh’s toe before the show and this was cold-blooded revenge? Is Josh mad Tyler didn’t wear matching boxer briefs when they accepted the Grammy for Stressed Out? Does Josh want to be a one-man band?!
No. It was a total accident and Josh feels really bad about it. But Tyler is such a badass he finished the show and made the best of a slippery situation.
After such a trauma, the clique immediately came to the rescue with a painfully accurate reenactment, Unsolved Mysteries quality. Well done, @SamTheProud
