Ahoy my favorite people! My boyfriend belongs to the streets and I have to tell you how I found out. On Sunday I worked a graveyard shift and when I got home I noticed a cigarette butt with pink lipstick on it in my boyfriends ashtray. I don’t smoke and either do any of my friends so right away I knew there was a problem. I took a picture of it and sent it to him. At first he denied knowing anything about it. At one point he tried saying “the wind or a bird must have picked it up” which I thought was the worst excuse until I heard his next one. After hours of crying and fighting he looked me in the eyes and told me that sometimes he puts on my lipstick when I’m gone. He said he misses me a lot and was ashamed to tell me he did this. I went from crying to laughing in his face. I asked him to go get the lipstick he used and after fumbling around in the bathroom for a few minutes he comes out with eyeliner. What a freaking liar! For laughs and revenge I made him put the eyeliner on his lips to show me how he did it. I packed up some stuff, grabbed the dogs and went to my parents house. I am heartbroken and frustrated I wasted two years but I’m extremely happy I found out before we got married and had kids. Sorry to dump my sad story on you guys but I thought you’d find his excuse funny. Thanks for being the only thing stable in my life right now. I love you and hope to see you at Riot Fest!

Is he the jerk for not helping with groceries? Even though he paid her to do it?
I had a moment the other day that as it was happening I was thinking to myself “am I a jerk for this?” I ordered a bunch of groceries and when they showed up it started raining really hard. I didn’t want to get wet and I’m paying for the service so I didn’t help the delivery woman. I just stood there watching her through the window get wetter and wetter with every trip. Around the 6th trip back and fourth I started to feel guilty and went out to help her but by then she was already done. She was very sweet and reminded me a lot of my polish grandmother. I tipped her $5, does that prevent me from being a jerk or am I still a jerk for not helping her? Yes she’s old and yes it was raining but I paid for a service, I didn’t pay to help. Do you guys think I am a jerk for this?

At Washington Community High School just outside of Peoria, the football team gave the most important people on the roster a chance to shine: the moms. At a preseason practice, the player’s makers were invited to pad up and throw down against their spawn.

More young people are smoking weed than ever before, America becoming pretty damn cool
A federally funded study revealed that more young people are smoking marijuana and tripping out on psychedelics than ever before. The study conducted by the University of Michigan for the National Institutes of Health In found that 43% of adults ages 19 to 30 smoked cannabis at some point last year, a significant jump from 34% five years ago and 29% in 2011 and the highest recorded since 1988.
This jump is obvious after 19 states have legalized recreational use of the drug.

Flea will love you, even when no one else will
Red Hot Chili Peppers’ funkiest member, the eternal Flea, had some incredible words for people around the world as the band accepted their Global Icon Award at last night’s VMA’s.
When Flea wasn’t thanking the ground that he walked on, the Chili Peppers took time out of their acceptance speech to remember the late Taylor Hawkins. Chad Smith, the band’s drummer, dedicated the award to his “brother”.
During their performance, Smith’s bass drum prominently paid tribute to Hawkins with ”Taylor” written across it within a hawk — one that resembles a tattoo the Foo Fighters’ drummer had on his arm.

MoviePass is back — but not exactly the way you remember it.
MoviePass has returned from the dead. But it won’t be repeating the same mistake that killed it in the first place.
Remember when you used to be able to go to unlimited movies for $10 a month? Yeah, turns out that wasn’t such a solid business decision — it just wasn’t sustainable and eventually led to bankruptcy.
The company is back and wants to launch a tiered subscription service that will get you monthly credits. These credits can be redeemed for movie tickets. Matinées and second-run movies will run less credits, and premium movies, the kind that are leading a resurgence at the box office (Top Gun: Maverick, Minions, & Thor: Love and Thunder) — they obviously will cost you more.
The only way to get in on the ground floor, though, is to jump on a waiting list. Come Labor Day, the people at the top of the list will get the complete details and first dibs.
