What’s old is new again and thanks to Stranger Things, people once again care about Metallica for more than just their t-shirts. ‘Master of Puppets’ skyrocketed up the charts and now, some fine young men on TikTok have reworked it into a pop punk song.

Little Leaguer calls ESPN “dramatic” after bad call

A hot mic caught a player calming down his teammate over a bad call in the Little League World Series. Iowa was beating Washington 6-3 and the late inning rally was just ESPN “being dramatic” according to one player. That’s when coach stepped in and told everyone to shake it off.

You can own a set of rings from the Bulls first three-peat.

The rings belonged to Horace Grant — who had auctioned them off for a charity event in the past — and the size 12 rings from the 1991, 1992, and 1993 NBA titles are going for around $30K a piece — and might be worth more than 3X that.

From her album Kala, in 2007, the single was a already a sample of The Clash’s “Straight To Hell” now someone has remixed her lyrics with 210 clips from movies. Sister Jean is 103! The Loyola team chaplain is still going strong!

Sister Jean, Loyola Rambler’s men’s basketball team chaplain, turned 103 years old on Sunday. To honor her, the school dedicated a plaza to her. The Loyola CTA stop, just across Sheridan Road from the Campus, was renamed the “Sister Jean CTA Plaza.” They even gave her own bobblehead. She is also going to throw out the first pitch at Tuesday’s Cubs-Cardinals Game at Wrigley Field.

Full fare “Super Saver” passes will cost $100, while a reduced fare pass for eligible seniors, K-12 students and children will cost $70.  You’ll have to buy your pass on the Ventra app in order to take advantage.

Unlimited rides for $100 to combat rising fuel prices? The commuter rail is betting this may the answer for many commuters.

The new fare is available starting July 1st.
