Huge thanks to Anberlin for an unforgettable night at the House of Blues Chicago on 3/27/25! Celebrating 20 years of Never Take Friendship Personal with you was absolutely incredible. The energy, the nostalgia, and the passion were unreal. And to the amazing crowd—thank you for bringing the love and making it a night to remember! Until next time!
25 years ago, one of the best bands in the Warped Tour/emo music scene emerged with their Self-Titled album, and let’s just say that same band is still touring, performing, and writing new music! But they decided to do 6 dates in Chicago celebrating 3 very special albums, and I was lucky enough to cover the opening night of this tour with my favorite album! Now the band played the self-titled album, and its eternity plus an Encore song, which was “Choke Me”. The crowd, however, was sold out, of course, but was a mix of just singing, moshing, and crowd surfing, depending on what song Bert was singing on stage! Now, the coolest part about this stage setup without giving to much away was the into, and oh my goodness, did I not only feel old, but it just showed they were going back to their roots with this tour!
Now, during this tour, they are playing 3 dates per city, which means a different album each night! The 3 albums are Self-Titled, Love and Death, and Lies for Liars! So if one of those albums is your favorite, then try and find tickets if you can because these are selling out like crazy! If you are a fan of the band but not sure what night to do, I say do the night you feel like you may have the most fun! Overall, one of my favorite shows this year and something I will never forget!
It’s been two years since we’ve gotten new Gorillaz music with the release of Cracker Island. We also got The Ballad Of Darren, the first Blur record in eight years. Now, Damon Albarn has confirmed that in 2025, we’ll have more Gorillaz music.
In an interview with French publication Les Inrockuptibles posted on March 25, he said, “I’m finishing a new Gorillaz album. One opera and one new Gorillaz album seems like enough for 2025! Unless someone accuses me of taking my foot off the gas!”
At this time, we have no release date for the new record.
A huge thank you to Beach Bunny for bringing their incredible energy and talent to The Lounge on February 26th, 2025! Your performance was nothing short of amazing, and we’re so grateful to have had you share your music in such an intimate setting.
To everyone who joined us for this special night—thank you! Your enthusiasm and love for live music made the experience even more unforgettable. We appreciate your support and can’t wait to bring you more incredible shows in the future.

Family Guy, barring a brief interruption in the early 2000’s in which it was cancelled by Fox, has been dominating the airwaves since 1999. In 2003, the first 7 minutes of the original, unaired pilot were released as a part of Family Guy Volume 2. However, the second-half of the pilot had been deemed “lost media” up until now.
On March 20, 2025, user GhostTheDeadGirl discovered that the full 16-minute pilot was on Robert Paulson’s personal website. Rob is credited in the pilot as both one of the ‘Digital Ink & Paint’ crew members, and under ‘Compositing.’”
You’ll notice Lois’ blonde hair, Stewie’s purple & green attire, and the pre-Seth Green voice behind Chris Griffin.
