On a Twitch stream this week, Blink-182 front man Mark Hoppus gave listeners an update on his cancer, revealing that he has Stage 4-A Blood cancer.

Rutgers University has completed a new study that finds that bisexual women are more likely to smoke menthols. The study, published this week in the journal Nicotine & Tobacco Research, analyzed national data from 2015-2019 of respondents 18 years old and older by sex and sexual orientation.

According to the study, “Researchers found that 54 percent of bisexual female smokers preferred menthol cigarettes, and 50 percent of lesbian/gay female smokers preferred them, according to the university. That compares with 39 percent of smokers generally.”

U.S. News has been assigned with the task of figuring out where the best cities to live in the US is, and there are three Illinois cities that finished very well, according to their metrics. Peoria, Chicago and Rockford are now listed as number 87, 102 and 133, respectively, as the best places to live in the United States.

Per U.S. News, Peoria received a score of 6.5 on a 10-point scale.

No big deal, but an Ohio hospital gave a patient a kidney transplant. Also, not that it’s a big deal, but that kidney transplant wasn’t supposed to go to that patient. Again, it’s fine, but this is (kind of) an issue and two people from the hospital have been placed on administrative leave as a result. Again, there’s no need to panic, but someone now has a kidney that they didn’t need.

“We have offered our sincerest apologies to these patients and their families,” University Hospitals said in the statement.
