A larger-than-life cow sculpture has been added to Lake County’s beautiful landscape. Dubbed an “artistic homage to the milk cow and all that she represents”, the statue came to be thanks to the Lake County Farm Bureau. She clocks in at 14 feet high and 23 feet long and weighs 1,000 pounds. She can be seen at the Lake County Farm Bureau office at 70 US Hwy 45 in Grayslake.
Now the cow needs a name. Lake County is hosting a contest through the end of October and you can enter the contest here.
A python has changed the face of a trailer park of Oklahoma.
Red Beard Wildlife Control was hired and started to check out the snake last week. Reports said that it had been around that area since June and had survived since then. The snake is an albino Reticulated Python, which is one of the world’s largest species of snake.
Residents are concerned because the trailer park is next to an elementary school.

Of course, this could be a cover-up because Tupac is still alive…

It’s not looking good for any team in Chicago. In fact, for the Cubs specifically, they are nearing a nightmare scenario.
While the White Sox, Bears, and even Fire remain abysmal, the Cubs were the sole bright spot in Chicago sports this summer. Now, however, as the season winds down, the Cubs are in danger of not making the playoffs. The squad has dropped the first two games of a three game series against the best team in baseball, the Atlanta Braves, both of which have happened in humiliating fashion, and at press time, they are currently out of the playoff picture via being on the wrong end of a tiebreaker with the Miami Marlins.
