Tim Anderson mutters “I hate this place” after making a base running blunder

It’s embarrassing being a White Sox fan in 2023. The late-2010’s rebuild is already collapsing, and the team has nothing to show for it. Shortstop Tim Anderson, a one-time catalyst for change, is now an anchor for a team going nowhere.

After failing to get to second base on a passed ball, Anderson sulked back to first base and was caught on-camera muttering to former White Sox first baseman Jose Abreu, allegedly saying, “I hate this place”.

If Tim hates it here, he should LEAVE.

The Sox now sit at 14-28. It’s May. There’s no hope.

American Airlines lost a man’s prosthetic leg

Good Lord.

American Airlines is under fire for allegedly losing a man’s prosthetic leg. Michael Williams, the man now without a leg, said, “You can’t do this to somebody that’s disabled. Just say, ‘Hey, we lost something of yours, but we’re not going to pay for it.'”

Williams said he followed all of AA’s delayed or damaged baggage protocols and he eventually received a reimbursement check for a little more than $600. That’s a little shy of the $26,000 that is required for a new leg.

American Airlines has not responded to the case.

Utah mom who wrote a children’s book on grief after following her husband’s death, now charged with murdering him

Kouri Richins garnered praise and attention last year after writing a children’s book about her husband’s death that was intended to help children process grief. Now, she’s become the villain of her own story, after she was charged with murdering said husband. According to reports, autopsy and a toxicology report found that Eric Richins died from a fentanyl overdose, according to the probable cause statement. The medical examiner said that he had five times the lethal dosage of fentanyl in his system and that it was “illicit” fentanyl and not medical-grade. It is also believed he ingested the drugs orally.

Woman who donated an organ to Selena Gomez calls her out for drinking

Francia Raisa has made headlines for calling out her (former) best friend, Selena Gomez, who is drinking on the kidney that Raisa donated to the world-renowned pop star. The rumors are that Raisa is heated over Gomez, saying that she didn’t donate a kidney just so Gomez could drink on it.

That raises the question…should Gomez be allowed to drink on a donated kidney? The conversation lives on Facebook!

MTV News shuts down after a 36 year run

MTV News started as a brief roundup of music news airing once an hour between music videos. But in its 80’s and 90’s heyday, MTV News became a bona fide outlet for breaking music news, celebrity interviews and high-profile political town halls.

On April 8, 1994, MTV’s Kurt Loder broke into regular programming after it had confirmed the death of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain.

Kurt Loder, Tabitha Soren, Alison Stewart, John Norris were among the correspondents over the years.

In recent years, MTV News focused on short form video and interviews across all its digital platforms.

Mom outrages the Internet with her “hack” to feed her 12 children

Alicia Dougherty is a mother of 12. Being a mother of 12 is incredibly hard, and we want to respect that as much as we possibly can. But she did something that we can’t forgive.

She loaded up her kiddie pool with nachos and had her kids dig in. We were repulsed by this. We were flabbergasted by this. We couldn’t believe this.

New survey ranks Chicago as one of the most “paranormal-friendly” cities in the country

My Chemical Romance told us that vampires will never hurt you, and that is certainly true in Chicago. According to a new survey from our friends at Lawn Love, Chicago is one of the most paranormal-friendly cities in America. They looked at categories including sightings, haunted locations, lifestyle, and community.

In the survey, Chicago was second in the number of paranormal conventions and vampire-friendliness, third in the number of paranormal sightings, and eighth in the number of haunted sites.

According to this system, Chicago placed behind Los Angeles and New York, and directly ahead of San Diego and New Orleans.
