The Rodeo Burger is coming to Portillo’s and it is a game-changer. According to the fast-food giant, “the Rodeo Burger features Portillo’s classic 1/3-pound char-broiled burger on a Brioche bun, stacked with its new thicker, crispier bacon, thinly sliced red onion, onion rings, melted American cheese, and Portillo’s tangy BBQ sauce, making for a mouthwatering combination.”
Concert attendees got more than they paid for during a weekend performance of LA Philharmonic’s performance of Tchaikovsky’s 5th Symphony. At the Walt Disney Concert Hall, a woman was seemingly so moved by the performance that curled her toes and let it all hang out, experiencing a “full body” orgasm during the performance.
The vibrations of Tchaikovsky is nature’s greatest aphrodisiac.
Can you make out the orgasm? The conversation lives on Facebook!
Steve Martin and Martin Short performed their, “You Won’t Believe What They Look Like Today!” show at the Walt Disney Theater in Orlando, Florida, over the weekend when the news was revealed. Martin said, “Catch the new season August 8,” to which Short said, “Our show is like Steve trying to pee — it streams for 33 minutes.” 🤣
I previously share the trailer for the new season HERE. August 8th can’t get here fast enough! <3 Lauren
Throw back to when Lead singer of the Foo Fighters Dave Grohl made his way onto “Hot Ones” last year after being one of the most requested guests by the fans. This video popped up on the YouTube homepage and it still holds up as one of the most entertaining “Hot Ones” interviews ever. Dave was interviewed and asked questions you normally wouldn’t get from a traditional sit down and he revealed his secret as to why he can handle the heat of these wings so well. Should we start doing interviews like this from now on and ditch all other traditional ones?
What are some other artists you’d love to see on this show and should Q101 start doing a show like this, but with Malort and Old Style, the old Chicago Handshake? The conversation continues over on Facebook!
We lost a Chicago legend today. Jerry Springer, who filmed his at times vile, controversial, and groundbreaking television show here in Chicago, has passed away at the age of 79. His family confirmed that he passed away peacefully in suburban Chicago.
There will never be another Jerry. Pour one out for the legend.
Two parents have been charged after they encouraged their daughters to fight a classmate. Prosecutors say the morning of April 3, a girl in junior high was walking to her bus stop while being followed by two classmates and their stepfather. According to Naperville police, the group then attacked the victim, throwing her to the ground, and punching her with their fists.
The victim was not seriously injured.
The parents of the girls who attacked her have been charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
A New Jersey community is taking a new approach to curb harassment. With many volunteers feeling beat down by the parents of Deptford Township, they are implementing a new rule. “You’re not allowed to come onto our complex until you complete three umpire assignments. Once you do that, then we’ll let you come back.”
The local organizers have emphasized that the purpose of this new ruling is to show parents just how hard the job can be.
Portillo’s is expanding throughout the Chicagoland area and it should be easier to eat their goodness by the end of the year. Cicero, Algonquin, and a drive-thru and pickup-only location in Rosemont. The latter of which will join Joliet as the only locations that don’t offer dine-in service.
The Cicero location will be located near Midway at 3300 S. Cicero Ave., the Algonquin location can be found at the high-traffic area of Randall Road and Corporate Parkway, and the Rosemont restaurant will be able to be found at 10290 W. Higgins Rd.

It is once again time we change the name of one of our favorite summer destinations. After nearly a decade as the Hollywood Casino Amphitheater, the venue will now be known as the Credit Union 1 Amphitheater. Over the years, the concert venue has been known as World Music Theatre (1990-1995), New World Music Theatre (1995-2001), Tweeter Center (2001-2006), and First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre (2006-2015).
CU1 is excited to unveil the Credit Union 1 Amphitheatre in Tinley Park and use this significant stage to shine a light on how credit unions are the stable, community-focused solution for everyone. Learn more online at https://t.co/l8M4DLNxlYhttps://t.co/BZugwJPwwL
Country star and born-again-bigot Morgan Wallen cancelled a show minutes before he was supposed to hit the stage recently in Mississippi. While his team was quick to note that refunds would be available at the point of purchase, that wasn’t good enough for some people. One crazed superfan took to social media, however, to demand a little more.
There’s a lot to dig into here.
The tickets cost a lot, but at this point it is expected for someone of Wallen’s level of fame. Her outfit cost over $100, but that’s nothing extreme. Her husband’s outfit being over $200? I had no idea Vineyard Vines had such expensive items. Rebel Rags, as it turns out, is a University of Mississippi team store, so unless they bought the entire store, there’s no reason they should’ve ever spent that much money at one location.
Add in $220 worth of drinks (good Lord) and another $235 for Wallen-related merch, and Mississippi’s finest ended up spending nearly $4,000.
Wallen’s camp has not responded to the outlandish request for refunds.
WGN and Stacker have compiled a list of the worst commutes in Illinois, and while places like Country Club Hills, Yorkville, and Calumet City all have horrific commutes, the unique honor of having the worst goes to our friends in Lockport.
